Spin

The spin of a golf ball sometimes has more influence on the length of the shot than a higher swing speed.
With the same swing speed, the optimal spin can impact distance up to 15m.
The spin generated depends on many factors such as the angle of attack, dynamic loft, the loft of the club, the ball, even whether the face is wet or not.
In amateur golf, you will never have 100% the perfect ball for your swing, as it is mass-produced. With the right choice of ball, however, you can get very close to this optimum.
